From August 19 to 23 local time, Bi Yanchun, CEO of CRIG, conducted business activities in Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates. He paid a visit to Zhou Ding, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, and held meetings with John P. Mangudya, CEO of the Zimbabwean Mutapa Investment Fund (MIF), and Shadi Malak, CEO of the UAE Etihad Rail.

On August 20, Bi Yanchun, together with Shi Yuan, President of China Railway Resources, paid a visit to Zhou Ding, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe. Bi Yanchun thanked the embassy and Ambassador Zhou Ding for their careful guidance and strong support for the company's development in Zimbabwe, and gave a detailed introduction to the latest progress of key projects and future plans.
Ambassador Zhou Ding welcomed Bi Yanchun and Shi Yuan to conduct inspections and research in Zimbabwe, pointing out that China and Zimbabwe have great potential for cooperation, and hoped that CREC would fully contribute to Zimbabwe's economic and social development and the improvement of people's well-being.

On the same day, Bi Yanchun and Shi Yuan held a meeting with John P. Mangudya, CEO of the Mutapa Investment Fund. They thanked the Mutapa Investment Fund for its kind invitation, stated that they would actively promote key projects to achieve milestone results, and hoped that the two parties would take this as a new starting point to promote the effective implementation of the projects as planned.
Dr. Mangudya warmly welcomed the visit of Bi Yanchun and Shi Yuan, highly appreciated CREC's professional capabilities, pragmatic style and the milestone progress made in advancing key projects, and hoped that the two parties will work together to promote the rapid implementation of key projects to achieve the modernization of Zimbabwe's infrastructure and regional connectivity in southern Africa.
On August 22, Bi Yanchun held a meeting with Shadi Malak, President of the UAE Etihad Rail. Bi Yanchun thanked Shadi Malak for his guidance and support, stating that CRIG attaches great importance to the construction of the Etihad Rail Station and the small station project group, and would complete all construction tasks of the projects efficiently and with high quality. Shadi Malak stated that the UAE Etihad Rail company would continue to provide all-round support for the project implementation and jointly promote the project construction. The two parties also conducted in-depth exchanges on further deepening cooperation.
